LOT Polish Airlines Flights
LOT is the flag carrier, national airline, and largest airline in Poland. It operates domestic and international services mainly to European countries. The airline also provides charter services and maintenance services.
A 3-Star Airline rating is awarded to LOT Polish Airlines based on the quality of its airport and onboard services and the staff's professionalism. Product ratings are based on all aspects of the product such as seats, amenities, food & beverages, IFE, cleanliness, etc, and service ratings are for both cabin staff and ground staff.
History
LOT was established on 15 April 1928 as a state-owned enterprise "Polskie Linie Lotnicze" (PLOT) as Polishonia Airways Joint Stock Company. The first regular flight from Warsaw to London via Kraków and Paris took place on 1 September 1929. In 1932, LOT - then still under the name Polskie Linie Lotnicze - became one of the founding members of the International Air Transport Association (IATA). On September 30, 2009, LOT had its first flights operated by Airbus A340-300s.
On December 22, 2009 LOT became the launch customer for the Airbus A380 standard sleeper class cabin configuration with 20 business class seats and 365 economy seats. The airline currently has four A380s in service with plans to take delivery of another four by 2020.
Destinations
LOT is an international airline, operating flights to more than 80 destinations in Europe, Asia and North America. The airline schedule includes routes that connect major Polish cities with each other and with numerous destinations outside the country. The airline’s fleet includes 75 aircraft including Embraer 195, Bombardier Q400, Boeing 737-8 MAX, Embraer 175, Boeing 737-800, Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, Embraer 190, and Embraer 170.
Check-in
LOT Airline offers two options for checking in: online or at the airport. You can check-in online as much as 24 hours before your flight departs. If you want to check-in at the airport, then LOT Airline recommends that you arrive three hours before departure time (six hours if it’s an international flight).
Hand and Hold Luggage Allowances
LOT Airline has a good baggage limit policy. You can take up to two pieces of checked luggage, 8each weighing up to 18 kg on flights to and from China, India, Japan, Canada, Kazakhstan, South Korea, and Sri Lanka. And for U.S. flights, you may bring one piece of checked luggage with you that weighs up to 32kg.

LOT Airline offers two cabin classes on flights across Europe and to the Middle East (including Dubai): LOT Economy Class and LOT Business Class. The LOT Premium Economy option is also available on long-haul flights.

The seats on LOT's Boeing 787 Dreamliners are equipped with a personal in-flight entertainment system. Passengers can choose from over 100 films and TV series, as well as concerts, entertainment shows, and games (also ones inspired by the countries where we fly). The seat has a 43cm wide seat base, an adjustable headrest on every seat, and a complimentary blanket and cushion. In the cabin, you can also find a galley bar for refreshments before departure or after landing on long-haul flights.
Premium Economy
A modern cabin class that guarantees top travel comfort and world standard of service at an affordable price. As a LOT Premium Economy passenger, you are eligible for priority check-in in a dedicated check-in area, fast track processing at Airport, and a possibility to board your aeroplane at any time.
All seats in Dreamliners are fitted with a power socket, a USB port, and an individual in-flight entertainment system. The aircraft have LED lighting and dimmable windows to minimise jet lag. On long-haul flights, you can enjoy a comprehensive choice of in-flight entertainment including over 100 films and TV series.
Business Class
LOT Business Class seats are equipped with a headrest, personal reading light, and air vents. The seats have a width of 18 inches (46 cm) and can be reclined into a fully flat position. Passengers also have access to a personal power socket and two USB ports.
The onboard entertainment system includes a 14-inch touchscreen display which allows you to choose from over 1000 movies, TV shows, and games. The system also offers live television broadcasts and various news channels in Polish, English, and Russian.
The meal is complemented by a salad, an appetiser and dessert and is paired with exquisite wine. The dish served to you before landing is made from high quality porcelain. With enticing dishes made of the best ingredients and served on porcelain of the highest quality, you'll feel like you're in a restaurant.

Food for 6 hours long haul: You can choose from a selection of hot meals and snacks that will be served during the flight.
Special meal: If your diet requires special attention, you can order a special meal for your flight. The meals are prepared by an experienced dietician and are based on the latest nutritional guidelines.
Liquids: A range of drinks is available onboard (including alcohol), as well as mineral water and coffee/tea.
Snacks: LOT offers a selection of snacks (e.g. peanuts, sweets, and cookies).
