History

On November 25, 1992, the airline's first flight was on the route Kyiv-London-Kyiv. Ukraine International Airlines celebrates its birthday on this day. Following London, Ukraine International Airlines began flying to Paris and Frankfurt. Ukraine International Airlines's route network encompassed various European destinations at the start of 1993, including Berlin, Milan, Amsterdam, Vienna, Munich, and Brussels. With time the company kept moving and in November 2018, the airline completed its 50 million passenger-carrying goal.

Check-in

Online Check-in feasibility is available on Ukraine International Airlines and you can use the service from 14 days to 2 hours before departure time. You can use the Ukraine International Airlines mobile application or Ukraine International Airlines website to avail this feature and convenience. As an exceptional case, check-in for flights from or to the US opens 24 hours before the departure time.

Hand and Hold Luggage allowance

If you are travelling from Economy Lite, you are allowed to bring a maximum of 7kg of hand luggage. While if you are travelling from Standard Premium, or Business class, 12kgs are allowed for you. However, for passengers in Business class on long haul flights 2x 15kg is allowed.

For hold luggage, Economy lite passengers can't bring anything, however, standard class passengers are allowed to bring one bag of 23 kg and Premium class passengers are allowed to bring 2 bags of 23kgs. Business class passengers are allowed to bring a maximum of 2 bags with 32 kg weight.

Classes of service and Seats

Ukraine International Airlines is offering four classes in an aircraft: three for economy and a business class. Economy class has three classifications as Economy Lite, Economy Standard, and Economy Premium. The most exquisite section is Business class which comes with many additional features that will take your travel experience to the next level.

Services onboard

If you are travelling via Ukraine International Airlines, you will be served food and beverages under high hygiene conditions. Meals will be served in packaging without interaction of cabin crew. Water and beverages will also come packaged. Meals can be pre order on a fee, however breakfast and snacks can be ordered on flight.
