At Stansted Airport, Ryanair UK has a second base for its low-cost airline. In addition to its sister airlines Ryanair, Buzz, and Malta Air, Ryanair UK is a low-cost airline under the Ryanair Holdings umbrella. As of March 2019, it has begun operations.

A brief history

On 27 June 1985, Ryanair UK Limited acquired Dawndell Limited, which had been founded on 30 May 1985. Ryanair UK Limited has been in business since 1 November 1995. Upon learning that a possible "hard Brexit" was imminent, Ryanair announced that its subsidiary Ryanair UK had applied for an air operator's licence from the Civil Aviation Authority. The first Boeing 737-800, registered G-RUKA, was transferred by Ryanair UK by the end of December 2018.

Destinations

Ryanair operates low-cost flights from the UK and Ireland to cities across Europe, including a number of cities with no direct flights before 1992, when the European Union deregulated much of the airline industry. In addition to its network covering 37 countries, the airline offers service to 225 destinations around the world including {list_destinations}.

Fleet

Approximately 2,000 flights are offered per day by the airline, which primarily uses Boeing 737 jets. In Europe, Ryanair Flight operates its fleet of B737-800 aircraft from more than thirty bases.

The check-in procedure

Almost all Ryanair flights can be confirmed via online check-in, although it isn't possible everywhere. It is not possible to use an online check-in process on Ryanair services from Agadir, Essaouira, Fez or Nador. In addition, there are flights to international destinations from Rabat, Tangier, Oujda, Marrakesh, Kefalonia, and Volos.

Hand and Hold Luggage

A carry-on bag weighing no more than 10 kg and a small bag weighing no more than 10 kg is allowed for passengers flying economy class. As part of the business class baggage allowance, passengers are allowed to carry a small bag of 7 kilograms and check in luggage of 10 kilograms. 

Classes of service and seats

In addition to economy class, Ryanair also offers business class;

Business Class - Aside from a world-class experience, Ryanair offers business passengers flexible ticketing options, free airport check-in, priority boarding, as well as a 20kg check-in bag.

Economy Class - Guests of Ryanair are given free seat allocations and reservations at an additional charge. Travellers on a budget can enjoy comfort and luxury with the wide seats.

Service on board

A 12-hour advance reservation is required for meals, snacks and salads ordered on Ryanair. A menu with snacks, meals, and beverages is also available for travellers to order from the flight attendants. Special assistance is provided by Ryanair for passengers with disabilities. Staff on the ground are available to assist with wheelchairs and check-in at the airport. Depending on the needs of the passenger, different services are available.
