Qantas

The largest airline in Australia is Qantas Airways, the country's flag carrier.  The airline has been providing its best services and products to passengers for more than 1000 years, making it one of the oldest in the country. History

It was founded in 1920 and initially operated taxis and joy flights. Qantas built many of its aircraft between 1926 and 1928. Their international flights began in 1935, and the service was extended to Singapore in 1937. The airlines received the L-749 Constellations in 1943, and these took over the main London route. This airline became the second round-the-world airline, flying Super Constellations via Asia and the Middle East from Australia to London in 1958.

There are many airlines with which the airline has codeshare agreements, and among them are Kenya Airways, Vietnam Airlines, Asiana Airlines, Japan Airlines, and many more.

Fleet

The airline operates 131 planes in its fleet, split between Boeing and Airbus aircraft, with the Boeing 737 being the most prominent among them.

Check-in

During the 24 hours prior to takeoff and two hours prior to departure, passengers can check in online for international flights operated by Qantas. It is necessary for passengers to enter their family name and booking reference code in order to check-in. Once the boarding card has been printed, the passenger can board the flight with Qantas. An international flight passenger has until 1 hour and 30 minutes before departure if they have luggage to check-in.

Hand and Hold Luggage Allowance

Economy passengers can take on board one item of hand luggage or one soft garment bag on international routes, while Premium Economy, Business, and First class passengers can take either two items or one item and one garment bag. There is a maximum weight limit of 7 kg per item of hand luggage on all flights. 

For international flights, except those to or from the Americas, Economy passengers may check 30 kg of luggage, while Premium Economy and Business passengers may check 40 kg. 

Classes of service and seats

The economy class is the cheapest class and you will get all the basic things that you will need and the best services that you can expect. The air tickets are reasonably priced and the food and beverages served on the seat are included in the price of the air ticket. This class will be memorable for you. You can enjoy the best food and facilities in the premium class. Although the fares are higher, this class will make your trip memorable.

Services on Board 

Food will be included in the ticket and there will be no additional charge. Raw materials will be used to make the menu, and it will be freshly prepared. You will be able to enjoy hot and cold drinks with your food. 

Economy and Business Class aircraft offer different entertainment options, including 10.6-inch digital screens on A330-200s and selected B737-800s.
