History

Fly Dubai is a low-cost airline based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It operates flights to over 75 destinations worldwide. The airline was established as a private company on 29 June 2003 and was owned by the Government of Dubai's Investment Corporation (50%) and Dubai World (25%). On 8 February 2008, Fly Dubai became an independent company with its own management team.

Currently, FlyDubai operates 60 aircraft, mostly Boeing 737-800 models, which constitute the majority of its 65 aircraft. According to its Boeing 737-800 model, it can accommodate 170-180 passengers. There are also some Boeing 737 Max 8 and Max 9 that FlyDubai owns, and there will also be a Boeing 737 Max 10 in the near future

At Airport

There is another way to check in with Fly Dubai by going to the airport check-in desk. The flydubai check-in desks are located at the Terminal 2 of Dubai International Airport (DXB). If you arrive by plane at Terminal 2, you can check in at the flydubai check-in desks.

Home check-in and Belt pick-up and delivery:- The last check-in option is Home check-in and Belt pick-up and delivery. This service is available for passengers who frequently travel with Fly Dubai. They can check in their bags at home, before heading to the airport, making things easier.

Hand and Hold Luggage Allowances

For Economy Class flights, you can check in 1 item of hand baggage with a weight no greater than 7kg. The maximum weight for Economy Class 1 is 7kg 55 x 38 x 20 cm). The maximum size for Business Class 2 is 14 kg, 55 x 38 x 20 cm.
